The history of Deans
Deans was originally founded in 1890 by George Dean a Chartered Accountant in Stafford. On George Dean's untimely death in 1912 his son Walter Dean (Senior), also a Chartered Accountant, took over the business aged just 21.

Astonishingly Walter Dean (Senior) stayed in the practice for the next 6o years. Β In 1953 he was joined in practice by his son Walter Dean (Junior) who was placed first in the country in the examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1952. Walter Dean (Junior) stayed with the practice until his death in 1996. Since this date Deans has continued to flourish in Stafford as a firm of Chartered Accountants.
